Terms of Business

Last updated: 30 September 2026

1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of prezwell.com and the client portal, and form part of every engagement with Prezwell Accountants alongside your signed engagement letter. If the two conflict, the engagement letter prevails.

2. Our services

We are chartered certified accountants in public practice, registered with ACCA. The scope, fees and deliverables of each engagement are set out in your engagement letter. Work may be carried out using specialist software platforms on our behalf; responsibility for the work remains with Prezwell.

3. Your responsibilities

  • Provide complete, accurate and timely information and records.
  • Review and approve documents before we file them — we do not file anything without your approval.
  • Keep your portal login and two-factor device secure.
  • Tell us promptly of changes to your circumstances.

4. Anti-money-laundering

We must verify your identity and, where needed, the source of funds before and during our engagement. We may be unable to act, or may need to stop acting, if checks cannot be completed. We are legally prohibited from telling you about certain reports we make.

5. Fees and payment

Fees are as agreed in your engagement letter. Invoices are payable within 14 days unless stated otherwise. We may pause work on overdue accounts.

6. Liability

Our liability is limited as set out in your engagement letter. We hold professional indemnity insurance. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Website content is general information, not advice.

7. Complaints

Please contact asim@prezwell.com. If unresolved, you may refer the matter to ACCA.

8. Ending the engagement

Either party may end an engagement in writing. Fees for work done to that date remain payable, and records will be retained as the law requires.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
